My Design Journey: UX Redesigning
Over the course of this semester, I have observed the websites of UX designers, learned the principles and psychology behind user-centered design, and collaborated with my classmates to create a prototype for a real-world client. Coming into this class, I had very limited exposure to the foundations of user experience, but I did have some experience in visual design and client interaction, both skills that came in handy as the final redesign project progressed. Through my coursework this year, I have brainstormed, wireframed, prototyped, and critiqued with my peers in order to improve upon my designs for our client here at UCCS. These experiences, combined with the content I consumed while completing my assignments, have altered the way that I approach my design process from conception to finish.
